Robin and Band appear on KDFW's Morning Show, Dallas, TX

Robin Hackett and heer band had a wonderful time performing on KDFW's Morning Show. Although it all looked smooth and without a gliche, the arrival to the studio proved to be an event. Robin rehearsed with her band all day before. After rehearsal she requested that everyone show up at the studio in a timely manner with room to spare. Little did she know that she would be the last one to arrive. Driving along on I-35 with the morning rush, Robin along with fellow band mate David White (mandolin, guitar) thought all was good until the flippity -flop of the ecar tire. With the clock reading 7:50am and the expected arrival time to be 8am, a flat tire was not a welcome element. David said don't worry I can change a tire in 10 minutes. Unfortunatley, Robin being the mechanic she is (not) did not have the correct wrench in her car for the lug nuts that were on her car. (Ugh!). After a couple of attempts to dislodge the lug nuts, Robin and David sat in the car resigned to no performanc eon the Good Morning Dallas. Finally Robin said I am getting out of this car and hitch us a ride. All these cars are going where we need to go (downtown Dallas). It took minutes and finally a gentleman stopped. We loaded our equipment into his mega truck, jumpe din and got to the studio in time for them all to say 5, 4, 3, 2,... you're on. That show business! Fun had by all. Thanks KDFW!
